Stevie-Lee Croft graduated in Contemporary Fine Arts Practice from York St John's University in May 2010. Since then she has fulfilled her dream of visiting Tokyo. During her visit, her phobia of skyscrapers transformed from inhibiting to being the source of new found fascination and inspiration for her works. 'The City With No People' is in its 5th and 6th installation in the two shows that constitute 'In the Kingdom of Fiction'. The cardboard city grew out of the artists print based works and in its 3-dimensions, allows artist and viewer alike to tower above the city and take in its beauty on an unexpected scale.
