"The Storytellers"

Throughout history the role of the storyteller in society has been an important one.

Traditionally Storytellers were responsible for passing on knowledge, wisdom and teachings in entertaining and imaginative tales to societies who predated the written word or comprised of the illiterate. Stories were a way of teaching morality and the repercussions of performing ill deeds.

The status headdresses worn by the Storyteller would have been impressive and statuesque, decorated with images and objects made from natural and handmade materials.

"The Storytellers" is themed upon the merging of the natural and the imaginary.
